1. General
The information and tools in Codasc apps are provided for general informational purposes only, on an “as is” basis. They are not a substitute for professional advice and you use them at your own risk. This page is part of, and subject to, our Terms of Service, including the disclaimers and limitation of liability there.
2. Health & fitness (Workout and Bike Fit)
Workout and Bike Fit are general fitness tools, not medical advice and not a substitute for a qualified professional such as a doctor, physiotherapist, certified trainer or professional bike fitter.
- Consult a qualified professional before starting, changing or stopping any exercise program, especially if you have an injury, a medical condition, or are pregnant.
- Bike Fit results are estimates generated from the measurements you enter. Real-world fit depends on your body, equipment and riding style; treat the output as a starting point, not a prescription, and stop if anything causes pain.
- Exercise carries inherent risks. You are responsible for exercising safely and within your limits. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any injury, loss or damage arising from your use of these apps.
3. Informational accuracy (Outage Watch)
Outage Watch surfaces outage and advisory information gathered from third-party and public sources and delivers alerts as a convenience. It is an informational service and an early-warning aid — not an official source.
- We do not guarantee that alerts are accurate, complete, or delivered on time, and outages may occur with no alert at all. Sources can be wrong, delayed or unavailable, and message delivery depends on third parties such as Telegram and mobile networks.
- Always rely on your official utility provider and the relevant authorities for confirmation, and never rely on Outage Watch for safety-critical, medical or life-sustaining decisions.
- To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your reliance on, or any error, delay or absence of, an alert.
4. Tax preparation (BIR DAT)
BIR DAT helps you prepare Philippine BIR alphalist and DAT submissions. It is a preparation tool, not tax, accounting or legal advice, and we are not your accountant, tax agent or authorised representative.
- BIR DAT does not submit anything to the Bureau of Internal Revenue. Filing remains entirely your responsibility, as does meeting every deadline.
- You are responsible for checking the accuracy and completeness of every figure, file and form it produces before you rely on or submit it. Validation rules and form layouts change; we cannot guarantee that our output matches the BIR’s current requirements or that it will be accepted.
- To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any penalty, surcharge, interest, assessment, rejected submission or other loss arising from your use of the app or from errors in what it produces.
- Your working data is stored on your own device. If you clear your browser storage without a backup, or lose the passphrase to an encrypted backup, that data cannot be recovered — by you or by us.
5. AI-generated content (Codasc Assistant)
Codasc Assistant produces responses using AI. AI output can be plausible-sounding and still wrong — it may misread your data, invent details, or give advice that does not suit your situation.
- Treat what it says as a starting point to verify, never as a final answer — and especially not as medical, fitness, tax, financial or legal advice.
- Check anything that matters against the underlying data in the app itself, and against a qualified professional or official source where the stakes warrant it.
- To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss arising from your reliance on Assistant output.
6. No professional relationship
Using our apps does not create any medical, tax, accounting, professional or advisory relationship between you and Codasc or CODASC SOFTWARE PUBLISHING. For decisions that matter, consult the appropriate qualified professional or official source.
